Plan your days, your weeks, etc. Pick one day each week to be intentional about how to spend your time. Be intentional about who you surround yourself with as well.
I remember Oprah Winfrey once saying, “Surround yourself with only people who are going to lift you higher.”
You can’t be successful in life if you are hanging around people who want you to fail, or just don’t care either way.
Don’t sweat the small stuff. Have a back up plan. Set yourself up for success, not failure. Even Maya Angelou learned from her mistakes and did better when she knew better. She didn’t just give up.
“I did then what I knew how to do. Now that I know better, I do better.” – Maya Angelou
Live outside of the box whenever possible – step into the unknown.
“Creativity takes courage. ” – Henri Matisse
Do what makes you happy. If you can’t be true to yourself, then how can you enjoy anything.
“This above all; to thine own self be true.” – William Shakespeare
Goal setting is important. Goals keep you accountable. Goals keep you motivated. Goals provide direction. Successful people set goals. Period. Look to these 4 areas to help you as you set your goals (think of a goal within a goal). It’s never to late to start successful habits. They say it takes somewhere around 12 weeks to create a new habit.
So, when do you plan to start YOUR journey towards a healthier you, with goal setting?
